Galaxy S26 series is increasing its AI support

Ana sayfa / News

As we approach the end of 2025, Samsung continues its advancements in artificial intelligence. With the company’s new flagship Galaxy S26 series, the Galaxy AI suite includes models based on Perplexity AI and ChatGPT, in addition to Google Gemini. This will give users simultaneous access to multiple AI tools on their devices.

With Galaxy AI, Samsung isn’t aiming to accelerate the integration of AI into daily use on mobile devices; it’s directly implementing this integration. According to the company’s statements, while Gemini is already in the system, it’s confirmed that Perplexity and ChatGPT will also be available to users. These two new agents will diversify the AI experience and enhance the device’s capabilities.

On the Perplexity AI front, Samsung is reportedly pursuing an investment-focused partnership. This initiative comes at a time when Apple is discussing the possibility of acquiring Perplexity AI. While it’s unclear whether this acquisition will take place yet, Samsung’s contact with Perplexity indicates that competition is rapidly intensifying.

Meanwhile, active negotiations with OpenAI are also underway. However, this collaboration is not an investment, but rather software support. ChatGPT’s inclusion within Galaxy AI is considered a consequence of this process.

The new AI engines will become active with the launch of the Galaxy S26 series. This transition demonstrates that Samsung is opening the door not only to major language models but also to a broader range of AI capabilities in general. The company states that it is also in contact with various language learning models and intends to keep the Galaxy AI framework as broad as possible.

Samsung’s steps signal a period in which devices will stand out not only for their hardware prowess but also for their software and AI ecosystem.
